Players begin by choosing one of three classes: Warrior, Ranger, and Wizard. Each class provides you with different benefits. The Warrior recovers faster, the Ranger’s troops attack faster, and the Wizard’s spells have shorter cool downs.
You begin with your hero on the right side of the screen defending his statue, while the undead armies march in from the left. You can stride out to meet them blade-to-blade on the field of battle, attack them with your starting spell, or summon owl-faced troops to fight your battles.You have a soul well acting as your resource pool. It fills up at a set rate and each of your troops costs a certain amount to summon. You can also spend 10-15 soul well points to upgrade the rate at which your soul well fills.
